Yes, we know you mean the symbol and not the dessert, but that doesn’t mean we don’t now have pie on the brain! Thanks to local farmers and great bakeries, Long Island is a fantastic place to find the perfect pie. Now, I’m a big fan of pies at weddings – in fact, we had a ‘pie bar’ for dessert with 5 different flavors from my favorite joint, Briermere Farms for our own. It fit the casual nature of our wedding, and our guests went crazy for it. So if you are thinking of adding pie to your menu, here are some places we HIGHLY recommend, and feel free to share some of your own!
