Aileen and Kyle’s wedding is chock-full of citrusy-colored goodness, and plenty of inside jokes, beautiful Long Island backdrops, and a Mr. Softy ice cream truck. Traditional elements mixed with quirky, personal details is a big love of ours. Heidi of Sugar Magnolias did a lovely job of choosing the perfect soft palette of flowers to compliment Aileen’s beautiful bright bridesmaid’s dresses (say that 5x fast).
Pops of color aside, there was one other thing that stood out from Aileen and Kyle’s wedding. Their photographers (husband and wife team Jonny and Michelle of Paper Antler) were on a mission to photograph 50 weddings in 50 different states to raise funds for She Dances, a non-profit organization with a mission to aid young girls who have been victims of human trafficking. Each couple would donate $1,000 to the cause titled, the ‘Nifty Fifty‘. Paper Antler successfully raised $50,000 and Aileen and Kyle were part of that effort.
