So why should you skip…  It was quite the week of celebrating! We are sharing this wonderful week with you while we re-cooperate from a cake pop hangover, so bare with us… Tuesday started off with a flower delivery from Sugar Magnolias to the Grand Re-Opening of the Samantha Drew store in Setauket. We absolutely adore Michelle and her fabulous…  YAY – it is our first Friday recap! It’s about time too – yes we are CRAZY busy, and yes it’s hard to get this all down on the blog every week, but we have a front row seat to the wedding industry on LI and want our readers to be a part of it….  I’d be lying if I said that this heatwave hasn’t allowed my mind to wander to the idea of serving ice cream cake at a wedding. I’m not too sure how it would all be possible – but i’m certain (kinda) that it could be done! My mom has been making ice cream cakes for…  I’ve heard a lot about Butta’ Cakes in Greenport through the grape vine. Heidi Lauber spends a lot of time in the area, so when I mentioned to her that I finally got my hands on one of their cupcakes, she was quite jealous (even though she hadn’t ever brought me back one, psshh…). The cupcake I speak of was coconut – both buttercream and cake. It was the last ones of the day and my sister and I were seriously considering not having it but oh, so glad we did!
